Baked Sausage and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into thick slices and fried
  • 2 packets of small-sized sausages
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups liquid cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a suitable baking dish.

  2. In a medium-sized pot, heat the oil, add the onion and stir until wilted, then add the sausages, red bell pepper, salt, and black pepper, stir to mix, and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.

  3. Place half of the potatoes in the baking dish, add the sausage mixture, and then add a second layer of the remaining potatoes.

  4. Spread the cream, sprinkle the cheese, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
