Brazilian Grated Cassava Cake

Ingredients

  • 500 g grated cassava (raw)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (270g)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (40g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 mL coconut milk

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and butter

  2. Mix well until the sugar dissolves and add the coconut milk

  3. Add the grated cassava and mix until well combined

  4. Pour into a buttered pan

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for about 50 minutes

  6. Let cool, unmold, and serve

Tips

  1. The batter will be a bit runny because it doesn't contain wheat flour
