Lemon Drizzle Bread Roll
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp self-raising flour
- 2 tbsp vanilla or plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp Vegan Clear Protein powder lemon & lime flavor
- 1 tsp margarine
- Sprinkle of Vegan Clear Protein
- 1 tbsp powdered icing sugar
- Drop of water
Preparation
Pre-heat your oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4.
In a bowl, mix the self-raising flour, protein powder, and yogurt together with a spoon until well combined.
Use your hands to form a dough ball. If the dough is too wet and sticky, add a pinch of flour. If it's too dry, add a little extra yogurt. The dough should be rollable in your palm.
Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it into a flat sausage shape.
Spread margarine and sprinkle protein powder over the dough.
Roll up the dough using your fingertips and place it on an oven-proof tray or tin.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes (check after 12 minutes as ovens may vary).
Remove the roll from the oven and transfer it onto a plate.
Mix the powdered icing sugar with a drop of water until it becomes runny. Drizzle the icing over the top of the roll.
