Homemade Cinnamon Vanilla Granola for Breakfast
Ingredients
Dry mix
- 2 cups rolled oats (I always use @onedegreeorganics)
- 3 tbsp ground flax (I use @spectrumorganic)
- tons of cinnamon
Wet mix
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Mix together the dry ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats, 3 tbsp ground flax, and tons of cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients: 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup applesauce, and 1 tsp vanilla.
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix thoroughly.
Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before packing into a container.
Note: This granola may turn out to be a soft-batch style, but the flavor is excellent.
