Homemade Cinnamon Vanilla Granola for Breakfast

Ingredients

Dry mix

  • 2 cups rolled oats (I always use @onedegreeorganics)
  • 3 tbsp ground flax (I use @spectrumorganic)
  • tons of cinnamon

Wet mix

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats, 3 tbsp ground flax, and tons of cinnamon.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients: 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup applesauce, and 1 tsp vanilla.

  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix thoroughly.

  4. Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

  6. Allow to cool completely before packing into a container.

  7. Note: This granola may turn out to be a soft-batch style, but the flavor is excellent.
