Vanilla Cinnamon Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch pumpkin pie spice (optional)
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk ?

Preparation

  1. In a sauce pan combine all dry ingredients then add in the wet ingredients

  2. Place over medium heat and add in banana

  3. Allow mixture to thicken for about 3-5 minutes while stirring on occasion

  4. Remove from heat and serve as desired

  5. If you allow oatmeal to continue to sit it will get thicker and thicker

  6. So feel free to adjust to your preferences
