Vegetarian Sausage Rolls with Baked Beans
Ingredients
- 2 meat-free Cumberland sausages
- Puff pastry
- Egg
- Black onion seeds
- Baked beans
Preparation
Brown the sausages in a frying pan and allow them to fully cool.
Cut and wrap the puff pastry around the cooled sausages, brushing the ends with beaten egg to seal.
Place the wrapped sausages on a baking tray with the pastry join at the bottom.
Brush the pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with black onion seeds.
Bake in the oven at 190°C for 25 minutes.
Cook the baked beans until the sauce is nice and thick.
Serve the sausage rolls with the beans.
