Warm Oatmeal Bowl with Bananas and Berries

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 sliced banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • berries
  • cacao nibs

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

  3. Remove from heat and serve topped with berries, nibs, and bananas or other preferred fruits.

  4. Note: No additional sweetener is needed if using banana; if not a banana fan, use diced apples or other fruits instead.
