Quick Cinnamon Oatmeal with Almond Milk and Banana

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup quick or rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 banana
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and place on stove top over low to medium heat.

  2. Allow mixture to come to a simmer and stir slowly as it thickens, about 3 minutes.

  3. Serve as desired, such as with toppings like blackberries, blueberries, gooseberries, peanut butter, and nibs.
