Simple Grated Cassava Cake

Ingredients

  • 500 g grated raw cassava
  • 1.5 cups sugar (270g)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (40g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 mL coconut milk

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and butter. Mix well until sugar dissolves, then add coconut milk.

  2. Add the grated cassava and mix until well homogeneous.

  3. Pour the mixture into a buttered pan.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes.

  5. Let it cool, unmold, and serve.

Notes

  1. The batter is a bit soft because it does not contain wheat flour.
