Indonesian Beef and Egg Martabak

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • Cooking oil
  • 100 grams ground beef
  • 10 green onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 red chilies
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 lumpia wrappers

Preparation

  1. Slice the onion into small cubes and set aside

  2. Sauté the beef until cooked, then remove and let cool briefly; mix the beef with all ingredients except the lumpia wrappers and oil, and stir until even

  3. Pour one spoonful of the mixture into the center of a lumpia wrapper and fold it like an envelope

  4. Fry the martabak immediately in hot oil until fully submerged and golden brown

  5. The beef egg martabak is ready to serve

Tips

  1. Fry immediately after folding to prevent leaking and filling from spilling out
