Spicy Hot Chocolate Oatmeal Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup quick steel cut oats
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine dry ingredients.

  2. Add almond milk and mix well.

  3. Cook the mixture on the stove or in the microwave until oatmeal is soft and creamy, about 5-10 minutes.

  4. Stir in almond butter and date, then top with sliced banana.
