Creamy Chocolate Porridge with Berry Compote and Toasted Coconut

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • 5 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maca

Compote

  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh berries or currants
  • splash of water
  • squeeze of lemon juice
  • optional dash of maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on a low heat for about 5 minutes until desired consistency is reached.

  2. To make the compote, simmer 1/4 cup frozen or fresh berries or currants with a splash of water, a squeeze of lemon juice, and an optional dash of maple syrup.
