Creamy Chocolate Porridge with Berry Compote and Toasted Coconut
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein
- 5 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp maca
Compote
- 1/4 cup frozen or fresh berries or currants
- splash of water
- squeeze of lemon juice
- optional dash of maple syrup
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on a low heat for about 5 minutes until desired consistency is reached.
To make the compote, simmer 1/4 cup frozen or fresh berries or currants with a splash of water, a squeeze of lemon juice, and an optional dash of maple syrup.
