Chocolate Milkshake Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- mashed banana
- 1 tbsp flax or chia seeds
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt
- optional: creamy tahini
- optional: hemp seeds
- optional: sesame seeds
Preparation
Place 1/2 cup rolled oats in a mixing bowl with 1/2 cup boiling water and cover for a few minutes.
Add a mashed banana, 1 tbsp flax or chia seeds, and 1 tbsp cacao powder.
Add 1/3 cup of almond milk and a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt.
Mix it all up.
Store it in a jar in the fridge.
Enjoy the next day straight from the container or served in a bowl.
Optionally, add creamy tahini, hemp seeds, and sesame seeds when serving.
