Chocolate Milkshake Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • mashed banana
  • 1 tbsp flax or chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt
  • optional: creamy tahini
  • optional: hemp seeds
  • optional: sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Place 1/2 cup rolled oats in a mixing bowl with 1/2 cup boiling water and cover for a few minutes.

  2. Add a mashed banana, 1 tbsp flax or chia seeds, and 1 tbsp cacao powder.

  3. Add 1/3 cup of almond milk and a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt.

  4. Mix it all up.

  5. Store it in a jar in the fridge.

  6. Enjoy the next day straight from the container or served in a bowl.

  7. Optionally, add creamy tahini, hemp seeds, and sesame seeds when serving.
