Banana Bread Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 scoop banana flavored protein powder
  • 2 tbsp crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 mashed ripe banana
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk

Preparation

  1. Add all dry ingredients to a sauce pan and stir together

  2. Once we’ll combined, add milk and banana

  3. Bring mixture to a simmer on stove top and cook for about 5 minutes while continuing to stir

  4. Remove from stove top and allow to continue thickening to desired consistency

  5. Top with extra fruit or if you feel inclined some nut butter or plant based yogurt for more creaminess
